Joining the Wye Valley Beekeepers Association

If you wish to join please contact the membership secretary (wvbkamembers@gmail.com) or download the membership form WVBKA Membership Form 2024 and complete as required.

We have 4 different membership categories as listed below, for more information please contact a committee member and they will be glad to help.

WVBKA Full Basic Membership (Includes BBKA Membership & BDI for 3 colonies & Newsletter by E-Mail) £32.00

Gives full voting membership of the WVBKA which allows access to all our meetings, on-going training, apiary facilities, newsletter and website. This also includes membership of the BBKA and includes all the BBKA benefits and resources plus their monthly newsletter and also included is BDI insurance for 3 hives (or more for an additional fee – see below for table of fees).

WVBKA Partner Membership (BBKA membership for partner of full member, No BDI) £16.00

Provides the same benefits as the Full Membership but without the newsletters from the BBKA or BDI insurance.

WVBKA Countryside Membership (BBKA membership & WVBKA Newsletter by E-mail) £16.00

For anyone 18 or over who is interested in beekeeping but does not own any bees. Includes BBKA correspondence and a copy of BBKA News, gives non- voting membership of the WVBKA and allows access to meetings, on-going training, apiary facilities and newsletter by email.

WVBKA Junior Membership (BBKA membership benefits, No BDI) £10.00

Gives non- voting membership of the WVBKA and allows access to all our meetings, on-going training, apiary facilities, newsletter by email and website, BBKA Junior membership but not BDI insurance.

BDI INSURANCE: Information about the Bee Disease Insurance can be found here. Note insurance for 3 colonies is included in the membership fee (except where indicated above)
